I just installed Microsoft 2004 on my Mac running OS 10.2, and I can't
seem to import my older Entourage 2001 address book and emails into
Entourage 2004. Any tips?

Thanks!

I just installed Microsoft 2004 on my Mac running OS 10.2, and I can't

Entourage 2004. Any tips?

File/Import/From a program/Entourage 2001/Contacts & Groups (uncheck other
items), then navigate to the Main Identity folder (or whatever your 2001
identity was named) in ~/Documents/Microsoft user Data/Office 2001
Identities/ folder if asked.

In order to do the Import from Entourage 2001, you need to have Entourage
2001 present on the computer. If you have already trashed it, it's not
necessary to reinstall it, just insert the Office 2001 CD in the CD tray.

(If 2001 is still installed, another way to do it is to File/Export/Contacts
as a text file and then File/Import/Text file, but you'd lose both
categories and groups that way, so it's not nearly as good.)
