I was told at a Mac Store that Office for Mac would open and be compatible with my windows Outlook files.
It really doesn't seems to. First of all if you are coming from an outlook in another PC and want to go to a new PC, the only easy way to bring all contacts and all mail boxes and a bunch of more things, is by bringing the outlook.pst file. In the windows Mac version a PST file seems to be an unheard thing. In the help menu they talk about exports of tab delimited files and similar things. That's a lot of work. If I will go thru that much work to recreate my PC Outlook in a Mac, it's probably better to forget the Microsoft Products and go with the Apple products. Anybody has an easy and painless way to transfer all the content of a Windows Outlook to a Microsoft equivalent? I'm most concerned with my e-mail folders and contacts.
