Importing from iCal

B

Bobbie

I have already installed Office 2004. Did it a couple of weeks ago. What I
can't seem to find is how to import from my iCal. In Import under File, there
are all sorts of options, but nothing for iCal or vcard. How do I get my
things into Entourage? Once that is done, can I transfer data between them
or "sync" the two calendars? I know....why would I want to do that? Well,
right now, I sync my palm with iCal and I'm not at a point of changing that,
just yet. One thing at a time.

Individual ICS and VCF files can simply be dragged onto Entourage and
they'll be imported.

There are a number of options if you do a search, such as
<http://www.google.com/search?q=entourage+ical&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8>.

The trouble is there's no way to get individual .ics or .vcs files out of
iCal - it will only export whole calendar .ics files which Entourage can't
import.

All those links lead to my Sync Entourage-iCal script. You can go from those
links or to

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

to download it. The script will transfer all events and todos/tasks from
iCal to Entourage. You can do that for free, and also try out syncing for 14
days free. It does a true sync, as you're asking for. The first time is
slow, then syncing is fast.
