Importing from Outlook Express-Done, Now What?

I successfully imported virtually everything from Outlook Express into
Entourage.

As you may know, OE is characterized by bloated files, particularly the
"Messages" one, which regularly needs to be compacted, else it outgrows
one's hard disk size, particularly if one has an older hard disk, as I do.

What are the equivalents of Messages, Database, Database Cache, etc. in OE?
Can I delete these old files, or is Entourage still referencing to them, or
???

Entourage 2001, like Outlook Express, has a Messages file, a Database file,
and a Database Cache file. However, they are stored in a different
location:
HD:Documents:Microsoft User Data:Office 2001 Identities:<Your Identity>

The import processes copies data from the Outlook Express database to your
Entourage database. If you're sure the import has succeeded and you no
longer need the data in Outlook Express, it should be safe to delete the
Outlook Express identity files.
