Importing from Outlook2002/Outlook Express on PC to Entourage2004...

I have searched this newsgroup for any indication of how to import my
messages from Outlook express on my PC to Entourage 2004 on my new Mac. I
did import everything to Outlook thinking it would have better export
functions, but that was not the case.

I read the "Help" in Entourage on how to import from Outlook and all they
say it to create an Exchange server and use that to transfer. However, I am
a home user and do not have access nor do I know how to set up an Exchange
server.

Another option I remember from a long time ago was transfer all my messages
to a .Mac account online then import those to Entourage on the Mac. Is that
still an option? If so, I am willing to sign up for .Mac.

Thank you in advance,

Ben

Never mind. I hit "more" and it gave me plenty of resources to import.
Thanks!

Can you explain more about those options?

I consider switching from PC running Windows XP to new iMac G5 and one of
the factors important to me is how I can import over a gigabyte of email
messages from my Outlook Express or from Outlook.

Try a great application from www.littlemachines.com called Outlook2mac

I had a huge outlook mail file which it converted to Entourage. The only
problem was that it couldn't handle nested subdirectories and imported all
the sub-directories in the top level. Took some manual intervention but that
was all. Handled attachments too. Great piece of software for only $10

Outlook2mac looks great. But purchasing it through Paypal is more than
annoying. I tried to purchase Outlook2mac on 12th september and was told to
open a paypal account. Then Paypal requests to make a down payment to open
the account, even before purchasing anything. Then, to unlock the account, I
had to wait for a 4 digit code, located on my BANK STATEMENT, next to the
paypal line. Once I got the statement, I entered the code. And now paypal
requests me to fax a copy of my electricity bill, to prove my residency
address... So, on October 17th, I am still unable to make my 10USD purchase.

I am looking for other ways....
