Importing into Entourage 2004 from EX

I have updated from Office VX to Office 2004. All was well until I
tried using the Office Assistant to import my data from Entourage X
into Entourage 2004. E2004 refuses to recognize my identity from EX. I
have reloaded, rebuilt, force fed, tried to fool and then just tried to
will it in. No luck. My last two attempts have been archiving and using
the E2001 option but with the same outcome.

Anyone out there able to help? Microsoft Tech Support has tried but my
problem is still here.

My wife is laughing in the back ground. I will send her to the person
who can help me. She cooks.

Try rebuilding your database in Office X. To do so hold down the option key
when starting Entourage X. After the rebuild you may have better luck
importing.

Thanks Bruce. I have done both the Typical an Advanced rebuilds
numerous times with no luck. E2004 says I have no EX Identities but
they are there. Browsing to them and then selecting them does not work
either.
