Importing Mac Address Book contacts into Entourage

I have saved my mac address book onto my desktop but it wont drag and drop into entourage - can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? thanks

You can select the contacts in the System address book and drag them to
the desktop to create the .vcf you need. You should then be able to drag
the vcf back into Entourage. That should do the trick,
