Importing Messages from Entourage 2001 (OS9) to Entourage 2004 (OSX)

I just upgraded from OS 9.1 to OSX Panther. I have a file entitled
'messages' from Entourage 2001. I haven't been able to import the
messages into Entourage 2004 for OSX. Any suggestions?

You actually need the entire identity folder to import, which includes other
essential files like "Database". If you can resurrect that folder, you can
go to File > Import, select "Import information from a program", choose
"Microsoft Entourage 2001", choose to import everything, and then "Browse"
to the folder with the Database and Messages files.
