importing messages from Eudora Light

I am trying to import messages from Eudora light to
Outlook 2000. I have mail in mailboxes that I have
created in Eudora that I would like to put in Outlook.

Whenever I attempt to import I get the following error
message..."mail could not be opened. If another app. is
using file, please close it and try again."

This messages comes up whether I have programs open or
closed. Any suggestions on how I can get my Internet mail
from Eudora to Outlook?
