Importing Palm Desktop 4.0 data into Entourage 2004

According to the Help file for Entourage 2004, the method for bringing
in data from the Palm Desktop is to install the Handhel Sync Installer
and follow the directions. The installer is not available with the
Office 2004 trial version, which is what I am using. I downloaded the
Installer from the Mactopia site, but it will only install into
Entourage X, not Entourage 2004. I have wanted to abandon the Palm
Desktop for over 2 years, but have not been successful in getting my
contacts and calendar into Entourage, hence I am still using both
programs. The ONLY reason I can see at this point in upgrading to
Office 2004 is the ability to merge these two programs. Any
suggestions? Again, what I want to do is to import my Palm Desktop
calendar, contacts and notes into Entourage 2004. I no longer use a
Palm device, so this is strictly for desktop use. Thanks in advance.

What about exporting from the Palm Desktop app to vcf files ??? Did you try
it ?? Entourage should be able to import back the vcf cards.
