Importing particular holidays

I have decided to upgrade to Office 2004 and have been trying to work out
Entourage 2004. I used to able to import NSW Holidays into iCal. It was
from the following : http://icalx.com/public/rodyager/NSW32Holidays.ics.
Does anyone know how you can import this into Entourage?

Entourage supplies its own Holiday files, and they're by country only, not
by state. I don't have Australian Holidays so I don't know whether they
include state holidays form all the states or just national holidays (as I'd
imagine). If you go to File/Import/Holidays/Australia, you'll see for
yourself.

If that's missing some of the holidays you need, you could get my Sync
Entourage-iCal script from

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

It's free for 14 days use, so you could import all your events from iCal
into Entourage. You could get a "merged" calendar in Entourage that would
include events already in iCal but would preserve the Entourage versions if
they're more up-to-date (if you choose "most recent" option in First Run, or
"Entourage"). Alternately, you could import those NSW holidays into a new
calendar in iCal and choose to sync _only_ events of that calendar. (See the
ReadMe: run PREFS Installer script and choose Category/Calendar before
synching).

Thanks for this Paul. You were right the holidays I was referring to was my
son's NSW school holidays, not the generic Australian holidays. Thus the
standard holiday files within Entourage was not helping

One item I found useful in iCal is the way people can publish and then
others can subscribe to that calendar. My son's school publishes a detailed
calendar and parents/students can subscribe to it. Assuming they have Mac's
using iCal.

On the entourage - iCal sync tool I will have a play and if I like I will
buy it. This looks like the only way to get it into Entourage.

Thanks again
