He should be able to do it if you have everything Entourage needs for
Exchange support (expecially IMAP enabled for Mail, and OWA on an
Exchange 2000 sp3 server for Calendar and Address book).

As far as I know you can't have the Exchange global address list visible in
the Entourage Address Book.

What they can do, however, is:

Firstly - in preferences tell Entourage to "remember recently used
addresses" (Mail/News Preferences -> Compose).

Secondly - when they type in the first name, or first few letters of a first
name of a person that is on the global address list, if they then hit
"Command-Shift-C" it will resolve that name on the exchanges global address
list.

This means that the next time they send an email to that person, they simply
have to start typing the name in the "TO" field, and Entourage will remember
the address and fill it in (so no need to do the command-shift-C again).

I'm not an expert in Exchange, but I think if you can copy the personal
address book to the server Contacts folder within Outlook , then you can get
it to synchronize with Entourage 10.1.4's Address Book by creating the
Exchange account within Entourage, including the Free/Busy server settings.
This will work for Calendar events too.

Alternately, or if there's a problem, you can get my shareware scripts
Export-Import Entourage X at

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

Check the Outlook section. You can export Outlook contacts directly. To get
more fields, and also Calendar, Tasks, Notes you'd need temporary access to
a PC running Outlook.
