Is this function not supported? I have at least five years of PST archive
files that I would like to import from Outlook 2003 format into Office:Mac.

I did DL the PST importer from the website but it complains that it is not a
compatible file format. What is the best way to attack this?

Hi,

importing a PC-based PST file is not the easiest and most straightforward
thing to do. The PST Importer tool you downloaded only works with PST files
created by Outlook 2001 for Mac.

See if the instructions listed on this website
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/cross_platform/index.html> will do; if not,
there is also a commercial software called O2M, by Little Machines, which
has been recommended by a number of users in this newsgroup:

I've done this. I tried one method:

http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/06/21/outlook_applescript.html?page=2&x-maxdepth=0

While this does work, if you have a LOT of subfolders, this will take
FOREVER. But it does work.

If this is using a company based Exchange Server, there's an easier
way. Move ALL your folders to your Exchange Server. You need to make
sure IT doesn't have a limit, my IT had a 400 MB limit. Not too
compatible w/ my 4GB PST. Open Entourage and sycn w/ Exchange Server
to bring in all the mail into Entourage. This does take a while so I
suggest doing it with a wired connection.
