Hello there. I am trying to create a custom stationery to use when sending
new messages, or any messages. I did a search on one of the existing
stationery sets that comes default with Microsoft Outlook. I found the
locations of these files under:
c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery
So I created our company's personalized background and saved it as an html.
document and dropped it in that folder.
I then, opened outlook, went to options\mail format\
from there I chose my stationery and I get a blank page.
I did however get the stationery to load, but then I ran into the problem of
the cursor defaulting to the top left corner. I have a graphic on the left
side like a navigation bar almost, so I want the margins to be 1" x 1" so the
cursor is indented.
So I guess, I need to know how to properly create the background so I can
import it into Outlook. I had someone who develops web pages try to help me
and I got nowhere. Please help if you can. Thank you!
