I am using an old Calendar program that only runs in Classic. As it is my
last remaining classic program I thought it was time to move to something
more current. However, I can¹t figure out how to import tab delimited
calendar items into Entourage.
Is this possible? If so how do I go about it?
You need to get my (shareware) scripts Export-Import Entourage, from
MacScripter.net <
http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>
It's the only way. Read up on the Installation and "Other Programs" sections
of the ReadMe. If your tab-delimited files have a header line, so you know
what's what, run the "Other Calendar to EvX" script. If it has no header
line, open the file in Excel and add one, and save again as Tab-Text. (You
might need to open it any way just to check on how it records dates and
times - you'll be asked by the script.) Then run the Calendar Import to X
script from the Entourage script menu, and that will bring in your events.
