Importing Vista Mail into Outlook 2007

Before I installed Windows 7 (I had Vista prior to that) I saved my E-Mail
file WindowsMail which has a MSMessageStore extension. I am now using Outlook
2007 and I can't find a way of importing my old mail into Outlook 2007.

it needs to be imported or opened in Windows Live mail or the program that
created it then imported into Outlook.
What program created the file on Vista?
