When I double click on some folders I can see and then change its label. The title is in white with black letters and around it I see grey around the white box. On other folders I get a solid grey that hides the label and there is no white area with the title in it. How can I get all folders to have the white box so I can re-title the label?

You cannot rename the default folders.
