Inbox problem

When deleting a message, the next message does not open. Other messages in
other mail boxes do so. Yes, preferences are set to open the next message
when deleting. I have ran database utility and it says that my database is
OK.

PB AL 1.5 MHz, 1 gig ram, 10.4.10. Entourage 11.3.6 Office 2004 with the
latest update 11.3. 6

Do you have the message open in its own window, or are you viewing in the
preview pane?
