Inbox settings for multiple mail accounts

1. Is there any way of getting incoming mail from various accounts to
appear in one indox (as happens with Mac Mail)? Having tried used Mac
Mail I find it frustrating to have to open different mailboxes.

2. I also have a problem with one POP3 account I set up. The inbox
appears as a subfolder of "Folders on my Computer" instead of as a top
folder for the account. I can find no other folders for this account
and I have checked all the settings. Mail send and receive works, but
the inbox is just in the wrong place. Anyone got ideas on these two

Use mail rules to move mail to where you want it to appear, or custom views
to display it all in one window, wherever the mail is residing (there should
be a custom view set up by default to view all unread mail)

POP3 accounts don't have folders - they are intended to work by allowing you
to download the messages from the server after which they are normally
deleted from the server. Mail ends up in the Inbox under 'on my computer' by
default - again, use rules & the MLM to move it around after it arrives.

Entourage does allow you a sort of 'cheat', and allows on-line access to
POP3 accounts, but this is not a very good substitute for a proper IMAP
account and is comparatively limited in features.
