Inbox (Unread only) problem

I have several email addresses. On one of them, I suddenly had problems
with my inbox messages disappearing after I read them. I just saw
"Inbox (Unread messages) message. I have no idea how this occurred and
cannot find a way to change it back to normal. This is the only email
address that has this.

Hi,

select the email folder that is affected by this, then go to the View menu
and click on "Unread Only" (it should have a tick on the left side) to
deactivate that particular filter.
