Incoming mail goes to Deleted folder

REcently I had to raise the level in Entourage of my spam filter to get
rid of the darn stuff. Unfortunately, every incoming email, except for
the ones that asked if I wanted to create a rule for their domain, now
ends up in the deleted folder. THe same holds true for all my reply
email. I ahve now removed the spam filter protocol from Entourage but
the problem persists. Has this happened to anyone else? Solutions?
I'm wasting more time now dragging emails from deleted to inbox than I
did before the filter protocols were altered.

You may have inadvertently created a mailing list rule, which is quite
easily done in Entourage when you mark a message as not junk. Go to
Tools>Mailing List Manager and delete any rule that might be there (unless
you actually use the MLM; in that case, only delete the rule that's causing
these problems).
