incoming messages

I am using entourage for e-mail with OS 10.3 updated.

How can I identify incoming e-mails that are taking forever to
download so that I can delete them withut deleting the other incoming
messages?

Set up your account to receive headers only or partially download messages
over 10 k. Then you can decide to delete messages you don't want without
downloading them.
