Incomplete MS Project 2003 Uninstall

I had a corrupted version of MS Project 2003 on my computer. I uninstalled
it by using the Add/Remove Programs. I then rebooted. When I went to
reinstall the SW, I got an error indicating that it was already installed.
IT ISN'T. Can't find it anywhere. This leads me to belive that I have some
files/directories left hanging around that makes the SW think it is already
there. I downloaded the Windows Install Cleanup untility. However, Project
isn't even listed for the possible software to cleanup. So NOW what do I do??

I already installed "Windows install cleanup" MS Project does not appear on
the list, so the tool is ineffective for the issue.
