Increasing Allowed Size of a PST

S

Shane C.

Hello,

I am having problems with my PST file. It seems that at 1.8GB it caps
out and won't allow things in or out. My transfer speed as far as
sending and recievinig attachments seems to have taken a massive hit
itself.

Any ideas/assistance on how to fix this problem is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Shane C.

If possible, start with compacting the pst. Go to the toplevel of your
pst (Outlook today), right click to properties, then advanced, then
choose compact. And wait a while.
Secondly clean up folders.
Furthermore, ask yourself why do you keep so many mail in one (pst)
file. I gave up keeping it in Outlook, I save my email in de directory
structure. Just like I do with the other Office documents.
We don't accept saving all Worddocuments in one big file, do we?
