Indents

Hi all,

Outlook automatically put an indent on my email...but only for the first
paragraph. To make the second paragraph similar I brought up the ruler,
however the left indent tools on the ruler were not present (at all) and
neither could the tab box be seen.

I am an experienced Word user and am using Word as my email editor. I can
work round the problem easily, but I am stuck as to why the indent wsa put
there in the first place, why it then disappeared, and why bits are missing
off the toolbar. Any help much appreciated.
