Indicator "! (in red)" in My Tasks view

In "My tasks" view, after sending a task update to the project manager (after
clicking on Submit selected"), I have the indicator "! (in red)" that
appears.

I've seen in this website that this indicator means that "I've entered the
status and saved it, but the status has not been submitted". Could you please
confirm this for me?

Questions about Project Server are best handled on the sister newsgroup
microsoft.public.project.server.

The red exclamation point indicates an overdue uncompleted task.
