individual task stoplight

hi,
thanx to Dale Howard, i was able to implement the stoplight function. now i
have another question regarding another issue with Project. i was wondering
if i cud add conditions for specific tasks so the color goes red, green, etc.
for example say i want a task to appear RED after 6 days of being active,
then i want another task in the same project to appear RED after 10 days of
being active. here when i say "being active" i mean that the task has a
deadline of 6 days and on the 7th day the task shud have a RED STOP light in
a column that i designate it. thanx for the help in advance...if the Q isnt
clear....please post a comment and i will try to clarify.

You could but it would require adding more nested IIF statement to the
formula and have them evaluate a field such as Flag1 and Flag2. So if
Flag1 was True then evaluate red if more than 6 days but if Flag2 was true
do it only after 10. It would be a VERY complicated formula to write though.

It would be easier to deal with using VBA but this carries some overhead.
you would need to have it run against every project (VBA in the Enterprise
Global) or you would need to have the code in just those projects that
need it run. Then you would need to decide when to have it run. Best case
for accuracy it runs in the On Change event but that would slightly slow
down the application.
