Infection (?) of user accounts

When I try to send a message from Entourage (10.1.4) in OS 10.3.5,
Entourage sends a user name "cm9ic3Rhdmiz" and SMTP authentication
(properly) fails. This user name coes not correspond to any of my
accounts. I deleted and recreated the account from which I was trying
to send an e-mail and got the same message. I ran NAV with virus
definitions from 8/1 and didn't turn up anything. Any ideas? --

Do you have any e-mail encryption or security turned on or any add-on
software? Could this be some kind of hashing of your username?
