Information about Projects themselves - not the detail.

I use MSProject and EPM etc to manage the detail of the project.

What I find missing though, is the mechanism for looking at the bigger
picture of projects themselves. I'm about ready to set up a database
with my 100-odd projects, and show the priorities and commentry on each
project.

Many projects are lying in the pipe, waiting for an opportunity, but
they don't have enough priority to get attention. This database would
show me just that.

Some advice?

Easily done in Access. If you don't have it, or don't have the skill,
use Excel.

Since you are already using Project Server, why don't you create a couple of
custom enterprise Project fields to show the priority and commentary for
each project, and then create a custom Project Center view in PWA containing
those two custom fields? You could even use graphical indicators in the
priority field. Just a thought. Hope this helps.
