I am new to this group - and dont know if this question has been
answered - could not find it in search - perhaps someone can help
Can anyone tell me please how to get rid of this irritating Publisher
alert - I am using Windows 98SE and Publisher98 -
I have changed my Printer 3 times, having UNISTALLED previous printers
- I still get the message below and it varies between two past
printers- the NEC 860 OR HP psc1200 -
Upon opening a document the alert appears:
"The printer selected for this publication "NEC 860" [alternatively
for some Pub files it is "HP psc1200 series "] cannot be initialized or
is not installed on the system. Publisher will change the publication
printer to " Panasonic KX-P7100" instead. The fonts in your
publication may look different as a result of the printer selection."
This alert message must be somewhere on the computer - does anyone know
where?
Thanks in advance to all who respond - NN
