Inmail going to delete folder in Entourage:Mac 2004

I am experiencing an increasing amount of inmail automatically going into my delete folder. There are no rules established in my mailing list manager. Any ideas?

In addition to the Mailing List Manager, check your Rules. Both are in the
Tools menu. In Rules make sure you're checking all the tabs - POP for POP
accounts, IMAP for IMAP accounts, etc.

If you're absolutely positively sure there are no rules involved, try
creating a new identity (Entourage (menu) > Switch Identity) and see if it
happens there. See if this problem happens with a new identity. If not, then
it may indicate some corruption and you should transfer your mail over.
