Insert 1 presentation into another

My friend and I want to insert a presentation onto 1 slide and have that
presentation run. We can figure out how to insert the presentation (Insert
Object from File), but once the presentation is in there, the slides don't
transition like we set up. We can edit those slides and we can see all of the
slide, but they don't transition. Here's our goal: We want slide from
Presentation A to appear, we click a button and then Presentation B appears
and runs on a timer looping endlessly until we click a button and have
another slide from Presentation A appear. How can we get that to work?

This may only work in PP 2003 (which I have)

A) dont insert pres 2 into 1

On slides in pres 1 insert action button from slideshow menu and format them
to link to powerpoint presentation2

In pres 2 insert action buttons that link to end show.

When you click the buttons in pres 1 then pres 2 will start. When you click
the end show buttons in 2 you'll be back in pres 1.
