Insert Cells, Rows & Columns Dimmed Out

All of a sudden, the Insert: Cells; Rows & Columns options from the menu bar
are dimmed out. I can, however, use the right mouse button to execute the
operation. Since I am a keyboard user, it has become a hassle.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
