insert dynamic text

An individal responds to a questionnaire (sheet 1) and the sum of their
responses produces a score. We have linked that score to a dynamic graph in a
report (sheet 2).

If that score is below, e.g. 10, then I would like a certain paragraph of
text to be inserted into a report.

Ideally I'd like the database for that 'dynamic' text to be contained in the
same document as the questionnaire (sheet 1) and report (sheet 2).

Help! Anyone?

One way might be something along these lines ..

Assume the score is computed in cell C5 in Sheet1

Create a reference table in say, Sheet3, A1:B4

1 Text1
3 Text2
5 Text3
10 Text4

Above table means:

Text4 to be displayed if score is >=10
Text3 to be displayed if score is >=5 and <10
Text2 to be displayed if score is >=3 and <5
Text1 to be displayed if score is >=1 and <3

In Sheet2

Put in A1:

=IF(OR(Sheet1!C5=0,Sheet1!C5=""),"",VLOOKUP(Sheet1!C5,Sheet3!$A$1:$B$4,2,TRU
E))

Select A1 > Copy
Click away from A1, say on B3
Hold down SHIFT, click Edit > Paste Picture Link
(A linked picture of cell A1 will be pasted)

Format and position the linked picture
as desired within the graph, etc
