Insert multiple Pictures into PowerPoint just like I do slides

Anyone had any luck inserting jpg Picts? After duplicating several blank
slides then going to My Pictures I would like to select several and have them
transfer into my presentation. I do this with PP Slides from one Presentation
to another. I'm running XP and PP 2002
