insert object-Post It Note

P

Piers

Prior to updating Windows XP to SP2 and Office XP to SP3, I could insert a
Post-It Note using Insert Object or by dragging/dropping into document (Word,
Powerpoint, Excel etc.).

Now although the Post-It Note entry shows up under the listing for Insert
Object, I get a message that says:
"This object was created in 3M. This application is not available to open
this object. Make sure it is installed properly or has not been deleted,
removed or renamed."

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Quick question, have you tried reinstalling "Post-it Notes" since the
updates? There are a fair amount of changes made to the system by those
updates and the Post-it install needs to be redone.

Then I suspect the updates have broken the compatibility of the add-on.
Please visit the "Post-It Note" website for hopefully "a soon to be
released patch".
