Insert several pictures into one document

L

Lee Brown

Hello,

I could really use some help. I am trying to create a
document that will allow my Mother-in-law to insert
several pictures in a Word document. The number of
pictures range from 3 to 5 and beside each picture she
likes to type some notes. I am trying unsuccessfully to
create a macro that will ask how many pictures she would
like to insert into the document then space out the
pictures so that they are evenly spaced on the document.

I thought maybe I should do a table so if there are three
pictures the table would be 2 columns and 3 rows. If
there are 4 pictures there would be 2 columns and 4 rows
and if there are 5 pictures there would be 2 columns and
5 rows. The pictures would be on one side and the words
on the other side.

One of the problems I am running into is the spacing.
How do you space it out so it's evenly spaced between the
top and bottom and left and right of the document?

The next problem is how do I set up the macro to put the
pictures into the cells in the table?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lee

In order to come up with focussed tips, you might
want to consider using the macrorecorder to:

Create a table, insert the pictures in the cells and
do the formatting (spacing).

More info:

If you get stuck, kindly repost indicating where you got stuck.

Now once this is established, you'll have to think
about a mechamism to do it repeatedly according to
the wishes of your MIL.

This will have to be done using some sort of dialog ...
We'll come back to this later on, first try to make
the macro to insert pictures work ...
