Insert Symbol

I was wondering, is it possible through VBA code to insert a symbol
given the shortcut key for a symbol? I mean:

Assuming the letter omega (in symbol) is selected. When you click on
Insert -> Symbol and then on Shortcut key, you will notice that the
number is 61559. What I want to do is the opposite: given the number
61559 and assuming it is known that Symbol is the font being used, can
I write a macro that enters omega in symbol font?

I am sure this is easy, but I am just not able to figure it out.

Thanks for any help.

There is an InsertSymbol method (Selection and Range classes). You can
use the macro recorder to produce the correct syntax, for Selection
objects.
