inserted picture cut in half

Hi all-

I'm trying to insert a plain old jpg into a word document and it prints the
top half of the picture twice! I have a picture (3 by 5) that has two top
half portions joined together.
Help!

If the paragraph into which you're inserting the picture is set to an exact
line height, you will usually get the bottom part of the picture. And many
printers print JPEGs in squished stripes (the whole picture compressed
vertically and repeated two, three, or more times), but I have never heard a
report of two top halves.
