I am having trouble putting a sound in the webpage and a movie/animated
graphics. This is for school.

- I see the movie clip in the clip organizer in preview/properties but it
does not post as one. I downloaded movie animated graphics from the microsoft
office website but they are posting as still.

- With the sound, I cannot hear it although my speakers work with
everything else online. I am supposed to put in a background sound and I do
not know how to get the files to type in the path.

This is a Intro to Microsoft Word class. Any help would be really
appreciated. I am really trying here. Looking on the web at google, at the
Admin boards, trying tech chat rooms......this is part of my last test. I was
unfortunately busy writing down other stuff and also helping others with
their stuff and I thought it looked easy enough to do. It should be easy. Who
can help me with this?

Animations in Word-created Web pages do not animate unless you view them in
your browser (rather than Word). The KB article “'Application is not
available' error messages when you try to insert some Web Tools in Word 2002
and Word 2003" at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=886299 may also be
relevant.

The basic theory of adding either sound or movies is this. First
after the media file has been created you have to upload that file to
your webspace. Then you will have to add the .html coding to your
webpage.

For example, I have music that plays while my main page is loading. I
also have another music file BUT it only plays when someone clicks on
it. So depending on how you want your music to play there's a
different coding for each.

As far as movies are concerned the basic theory is still the same.
Once your movie file has been created you then upload it to your
webspace. Then you add the html code that points to that movie file
to your webpage. In my case I have a movie short on my webcam page
at: http://members.aol.com/Roseb441702/webcam.htm.

Scroll down the webpage some and you will see the first frame of the
movie along with the controls along the bottom. The movie doesn't
play automatically. It only plays when the "play" button is clicked.
