Yes, there is; use OS X's character palette. To activate it, open System
Preferences and click on International. Switch to the third tab, and make
sure the box next to Character Palette is checked. You should now see the
language flag show up in the menu bar (in case it hasn't been there
already), and if you click on it, you'll be able to select Show Character
Palette, which will then open. Click on Currency Symbols in the palette,
select the character you want to use, then hit Insert, and it will appear in
your Entourage message.
By the way, you will only need to activate the palette once; as soon as it's
been enabled in the System Preferences, you can access it from the language
menu in any application.
Is there any way to insert symbols into Entourage email messages as
there are
in WORD 2004? I send to many foreign firms and have to insert the Euro
and U.K. Sterling symbols into my messages but have not found a way t
do so.
