Install Entourage

Hello,

I had bought a new macbook pro to replace my old powerbook, I know a
function which is sync all data and program from old mac to new mac via a
fireware cable. But I had some problem when I use Entourage 2004 before.
Should I have to install Entourage next time when I finished my sync? But I
remember there are a lot of update and patch of Office for Mac 2004 need to
download and install, it will nedd to use a lot of time. Or I should be sync
all program include Entourage?

Many thanks.

You are correct that Office would need to be updated before using.
Specifically the Entourage database was changed after the CD release version
and will not open until updated.

I don't see a problem with copying over your current Office folder, but
there is only one updater needed for Office. A combo updater 11.3.5 is
available that contains all previous updates. Note Entourage isonly at
11.3.3 (see below). Your Entourage data is stored in the Microsoft User Data
folder in Documents. More on moving to a new computer.

Microsoft does not update each application every time an update is released.
