Install from CID and new server

Office 2003 is installed on our win2000\XP clients via a CID from a
\\server\apps\office, share. The clients look back to this when small
installs are required of components that weren't installed initially.

The \\server is being made redundant and a new server is being put on the
domain that will hold the \\newserver\apps\office, share.

Is there any way to tell the clients to use this new server as their office
CID, without a complete uninstall\reinstall of office? Maybe through DNS??

I have 100's of client machines!!
