install Office 97 upgrade over Works 7?

Dave Shook

I bought a new computer and installed Works 7 on it. I
have a (completely legal) license for Office 97 that I
should be able to install over "Microsoft Works (all
versions for Windows)" according to Microsoft. Of course,
since the version of Works is a lot newer than Office,
Office doe snot recognize Works as valid, and so will not
install.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

With Office 97 you'll need to contact MS for a replacement
CD key (800-360-7561 in the U.S., http://microsoft.com/worldwide
for numbers outside of the U.S.)
