Installation of Visio Pro 07 on XPx64 w/Office Ultimate 07

Hi all,

I am trying to install Visio Pro 2007 but it errors out. The error I get is
"Unable to install, file is missing or corrupted, try again using original
disk or download".

Well it IS the original disk. I was able to start the install on Win
server2003, and Vista 32bit and XP 32bit without any issues, however none of
these systems have Window Office of any kind installed.

Part of the frustration is that it doesn't say WHAT file it is it thinks is
corrupted or missing.

Hi all,

Well it was the disk. Even though it was brand new, all the x64 files were
corrupt, which is why it didn't effect installation on any 32bit system. I
don't know if the disk was damaged during shiping for if it was burned with
bad data to begin with. I found another copy to install with and the
installation went flawless. My recommendation if you have such an error when
your doing your install, find another copy to use, it might fix your problem
as it did mine.
