I have just done a clean install of Windows XP.
Upgraded to SP 2 and run Windows update.

I have also installed Office XP.

I now want to install Office XP Developer...

So, I have to install...

Office Developer Windows update Components
Office XP Developer
Office XP SP 3

What order should I install these in - does it matter?

Will Office SP3 recognise that I have Developer
Edition installed ?

Many thanks,
Roy

Fix your damned clock - when I first saw this post you were 12 hours ahead.
You are in the UK, I am in the UK and I can tell you it's not 2 minutes to 9
in the evening here yet! Please adjust your timezone to UTC.

RzB,
Installation should be:
order of release date for the products you have. Windows and Office combined
on a clean installation. You'll need to do some research on release dates of
service packs and updates. You can do this at:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1
Basic search here:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/
for either Windows or Office.
As a small business oem/ maintenance we have the best success with this
process. Saves time, frustration, thus makes more money...
