installation source corrupted

I just recieved the 2003 30-day trial CD. It seems very
slow to start and after I enter the product key numbers I
get the message "Publisher setup cannot continue because
the installation source has been corrupted." Is it my PC
(XP with Pub 2002 and Ofice XP) or the CD? Hope someone
can advise.

I had a brain storm and thought to take a good look at
the CD and lo and behold, it's badly scratched in several
places, that would explain it, I've sent off for another.
First time I've ever had a damaged CD!
