Installing 2nd Copy per License Agreement

M

Mark V.

I currently have Office XP installed on my desktop at
home. Per the licensing agreement, which states, "You
may make a second copy of the Software Product and
install it on a portable Device for the exclusive use of
the person who is the primary user of the first copy of
the Software Product. A license for the Software Product
may not be shared", I would like to install this same
software on my laptop.

Will I run into a problem if during the installation
process (most likely when I activate the product) it
notices that this software is already tied to my desktop
machine?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Probably not but if it the internet activation is rejected, just use the
telephone method.
