'installing New MS Word Feature' please fix!! (this is absurd)

~MS Office (Word & Excel) randomly starts with the message "installing new MS
Word Feature" -- This requires hunting down the original disk (~20 Minutes)
before it can install.

I spent $30 with your help line to fix this PROBLEM. The 'fix' lasted for
~10 days -- now it's back!! This is a very, very bad feature!!! Even the
message is absurd 'new feature' what is this new feature? -- what if I don't
want the new feature?

Using: MS Office Professional (Enterprise edition 2003) + Windows XP with
SR-2

Put your office disc in again and it will ask you if you want to repair,
update, or customize your product. Choose customize and then when it shows
all of the programs with a little grey icon beside them choose the top icon
i.e. Office xp and right click choose the option to "run all from my
computer" and click next until you get to the finish screen and this should
fix all future problems. Right now, by default it is set to install as
needed.
