Installing PowerPoint 2003

I've been trying to install PowerPoint 2003 to no avail. All goes well until
it stops halfway at . . 'writing system registry values'...
I have all the required system requirements and Microsoft Office 2003 minus
PowerPoint 2003. Can anyone help?

Do you have an anti-virus app running? If so it may be "protecting" the
registry and not allowing the installer to change it.
